How to add new product by searching for product name:

      You have signed up and want to add your products to your store.

Here’s what you do:

1. Open the Shopkite Merchant App
2. You will see a “Sales” page
3. At the bottom of the “Sales” page, you will see three Icons namely; “Sales” “Insights” and “Products”
4. Tap on the “Products” icon to reveal the Product page
5. The “Products” page has two options; “Tap here to search for a product” or “Tap here to scan product barcode”
6. Tap on “Tap here to search for a product”
7. Type in the name of the product(in full)  in the ‘search’ space at the top of the page
8.  Choose the specific product you want from the list of related products displayed
9. If you do not find the product you want, tap on “Tap here to add new product”
10. Tap on “Add photo” 
11. Choose how you want to add the image. Either “from Gallery” if you already have the picture on your phone or “from Camera” if you want to take the picture on the spot. Whichever one you choose, try to use a white background for it
12.  Proceed to fill  in the required fields; size,Cost/supplier price, Unit/selling price, Quantity, Wholesale Count, Wholesale unit price and Expiry date
13. Tap “Add product” at the bottom of the page 
14. Tap “continue”

You have successfully added a new product

Repeat the process as many times as you need to until all your products have been added to your product list.
