If a customer will owe you for a sale (credit sale), you can record the amount owed along with the sale.
First, you need to know how to make a sale by scanning a barcode or sell by searching for the product name.
After you understand this, then you can follow the steps below to know how to specify the amount a customer owes on a sale.
The following steps below explains how to do this.
- When you are about to confirm a sale, you will notice a button titled "Owing" at the bottom left corner of the page.
- Tap on the owing button to show a pop up where the amount owed and the owing customer will be specified.
- By default, the toggle button just below the "Who is owing?" header points to "Me" indicating that the business is owing the customer. You can tap on this button to change it to customer if the customer is the one owing.
- Type in the amount owed and tap on "Attach customer" to select the customer in question.
- If you don't find the customer on the list, you may have to add the customer then try again.
- When you have confirmed the sale, you will be able to view the customers that owe you (or that you owe) in the "Owing Records" section.
